Mirela Karadzhova is a multidisciplinary visual artist, originally from Bulgaria and who has been living in France since 2019. Member of the French Professional Association of Artists “Maison des Artistes" since 2022, “Illustrator" profile.
Graduated from the “Visual Arts" department, specialization “Graphic Design" at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia. As part of the university exchange, she did a semester at the Fine Art Academy in Nancy, France. Afterwards, she completed a Master degree in Public Relations for Cultural Organizations at the Academy of Arts in Plovdiv.
For a few years, she led a nomadic life (France, England, Bulgaria, Greece, the island of Crete, Nepal, the Netherlands) until 2019 when she settled (for the moment!) in Béziers where she currently lives and creates.
Since her first steps in the artistic world, she has already participated in more than forty artistic and cultural events, the most significant of which are:
* 2010 International Expo “Ars Homo Erotica", National Museum in Warsaw, Poland
* 2011 Annual Exhibition of the French Association of Fine Arts, Under the patronage of the President of the Republic Nicolas Sarkozy, “special prize" of the jury – Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France.
* 2011 Personal exhibition “Parisian evenings in Bourgas", Alliance Française in Bourgas, Bulgaria.
* 2011 “Anim(e)aux" Project, “La fête de l'eau" Art Festival in Wattwiller, France.
* 2011 Collective exhibition “From near or far", Jardin Botanique de Montet in Nancy, France.
* 2011 Finalist in the “Straff Hendrik" art competition, Halve Maan Brewery in Bruges, Belgium.
* 2011 at Collective Expo “Grand PP2", “Poirel" Gallery in Nancy, France.
* 2015 5th Grand Salon of plastic arts for young talents “Arbustes", artist “Honnored Artist" in Mantes-la-Jolie, France.
* 2019 Winner of the “Drawing 4 equality" illustration competition, Euro-Mediterranean Association in Barcelona, Spain."
