Marie-Claire Plante (Mariclair) was born in Ste-Anne-de-la-Rochelle, Quebec. In the 80s, she moved to Sherbrooke in Estrie where she currently lives.
Passionate about the arts since childhood, she explores as many techniques as possible: drawing, painting, textiles, mix media, etc. She cumulates several trainings of masters in visual art with recognized artists such as Francine Labelle, Seymour Segal, Laurent Bonet.
In 2005, a visceral need to express himself freely brought him into the world of abstract art. She opened her professional studio and has since produced abstract works, especially in large format.
She is a member of RAAV and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
His career, rich in artistic achievements presented throughout Quebec and Ontario, is dotted with various awards and mentions.
His works are part of public and private collections in Canada, the United States and Europe.
