Presentation
Alexander Tadesse born and grew up in Addis Ababa in 1983. A graduate of the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design of the University of Addis Ababa, he then specialized in painting at the Entoto polytechnic college of fine arts.
Tadesse experiments different art forms such as painting, graphic design and cartoon animation. Living in Africa and traveling the world, the diversity of cultures, religions and languages encountered, helped him artistically to observe and capture the color of harmony and all that diversity brings. His works speak of the beauty that exists in our environment through colors and the connection that each of us has with each other in a rapidly changing world.
He participated in group shows a few of the many at Alliance Ethio-francaise 2019, Laphto Art Gallery 2019, Kampala Art Biennial Uganda 2014, Afri Art Gallery Uganda, Capital Hotel and Spa for the launch of CAPITAL HOTEL'S LIVING LEGENDS IN ETHIOPIAN ART (CHELLA) 2014. Tadesse has also exhibited his works in solo at Guramayne Art center 2016 and the National Museum of Ethiopia 2014.
