Joëlle Duménil has made her career mainly in Audiovisual and Communication.

Young retiree, she uses her talent for observation to highlight colors and light.

She mainly uses oil paint on linen canvas, using a knife then a brush and seeks the idea behind the Symbol.

Colorist and self-taught, she paints instinctively.

She thinks that the creation of a painting is above all a reflection on oneself.

Each Artist in his own way of conveying a Universal message or highlighting a societal problem.

Having lived part of his life in Paris, his questioning focused on the technical progress of an architectural vision that points to the poor quality of life in poor areas where industrialization predominates over humans.

The imagination can create idealized or nightmarish places mainly affecting the environment, the organization of society, the values and the climate it establishes, which makes the future more threatening than promising, hence the dystopian inflection , a reflection not of the world as it is but as we perceive it through the prism of our present and future concerns.

The imagination makes us travel through different utopian or real representations…..
