Florence Féraud-Aiglin

Florence tries to convey positivity, color and hope through her artistic creations, often very colorful. 

Since her early childhood, Florence has always drawn and painted. She has always had an unconditional love and attention for Art in all its forms and for creativity. 

As an adult, she began to paint seascapes and landscapes that reminded her of the South where she is from. She painted with oils, then a few years later, she started to paint with acrylics. She also painted on other supports, such as ceramics (coffee sets), on mailboxes, on fabrics etc. She likes to include in her creations, everything that comes to her mind. She uses various materials such as stencils, sand, shells, driftwood, resin, stones or mirrors, and paint on all supports such as wood, canvas, ceramics, mailboxes, fabrics, etc. ... This has led to her being refused to exhibit her creations because her art did not fit into the strict frameworks of certain local galleries where she wanted to show her work. 

Being very manual, she also created lamps with crepe paper and glue as well as soaps and other creations such as minitableaux on tiles exposed on a minichevalet (trivet and decoration).Since 2011, following an accident that caused a rare disease of the spinal cord (Syringomyelia) and fibromyalgia, she stopped painting because she could not draw precise subjects as her hands were very swollen and painful. She then found another alternative to express all the sensitivity and pain endured by these diseases and their consequences on her life, in writing and she wrote a collection of poems. She still writes, it helps her, just like painting, to externalize her feelings, thoughts and pains. 

Since 2019, she fell on Youtube on videos of Artists painters like Anthony Chambaud, John Beckley and so many others and fell directly under the spell of abstract painting. It was like an evidence! She then realized that abstract art gave her even more freedom in her artistic creation through her imagination. She is now convinced that art is not restrictive and must be atypical in its creation.
