David Graux was born on April 12 1970 in Besançon and he graduated in Fine Arts in Paris in 1991. After the return to his hometown, he has devoted himself exclusively to art and more particularly to painting.
nfluenced by the big names of art like Dali or Klimt, his work had grown more and more. In 1993 his style is finally completely defined: the attraction of art collectors for this artist begins from then

It is therefore the theme of the feminine nude that seduces art lovers. He plays with the representation in the painting and combines the materials and the background that surround these feminine great icons, hiding them or revealing them in his own likeness. His constant research of art novelties and of different materials has allowed him a "more abstract" touch in opposition to the figurative representation of the woman.

The woman, touched by the brush, reveals herself thus in a warm and intimate universe, in dreamlike landscapes with Chinese inspirations.

Sensuality, dreams, and travel, these are the key words of the artist.
