Marie Kremer

Marie Kremer, alias SWAYH (Shine With All Your Heart), is a French painter born in 1982 in Nantes and settled in Haute-Savoie, near Geneva.

Initiated from childhood to drawing and painting by her mother, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts of Paris, a fashion designer and watercolorist, she develops a particular sensitivity to color and writing very early on. Inspired by her mother's calligraphy, she gradually envisions the word not only as a language to be read, but as a graphic form in itself.

A teenager in the 190s, she discovers street art and graffiti at the time when hip-hop culture was taking hold in France. She is immediately attracted by their raw energy, their freedom, and the expressive power of writing in space.

Trained in applied arts at the École Pivaut in Nantes and then at LISAA Paris in interior design and architecture, Marie Kremer pursues for over fifteen years an international career in the world of design and luxury, between Paris, London, Cannes, Saigon, and Switzerland. This experience profoundly shapes her vision: the relationship between materials, colors, light, and space becomes inseparable from her way of creating.

In 2020, she returns fully to painting and gradually develops her own language, at the crossroads of graffiti, writing, and abstraction.

In her works, words are written, repeated, and superimposed until they break free from their primary reading to become rhythm, material, and movement. Spontaneous gestures inherited from graffiti are met by more refined compositions, where colors, contrasts, and chromated inks play with light and the viewer's gaze. The work thus transforms according to its environment and the way one moves towards it.

Under the name SWAYH, Marie Kremer builds a universe where the force of graffiti meets elegance, and where words become the vectors of positive intentions. More than to be read, they are intended to be felt.
