We are looking for the narrow but meaningful path between lightness, impertinence and emotion. It transforms with the each and every personal experience an object to a story
Biography
Anna Golicz-Cottet lives and works in Colombes (92). After training at the Charpentier Academy, she began her career as an art director. A few years later, she left the agency and decided to devote herself entirely to sculpture and her preferred material: wire.
The "black lead of the clear line" and the absolute freedom of the "wire artist" bring transparency, lightness, and... happiness to the spool. She has exhibited regularly, most recently at the Résonance fair, the Artyfact gallery, the Collection gallery (AAF), the Talents boutique, and the French Arts Factory gallery.
Olivier Thomas lives and works in Colombes (92). His career as an engineer led him to work for about twenty years in applied research in optoelectronics in general and lasers in particular. His business trips to Asia sparked his interest in traditional Chinese medicine. After training, he left industry and opened a shiatsu and stress management practice in 2005.
In parallel, he collaborates with various artists, such as Fabien Chalon and is part of the trans-disciplinary collective "La superstructure" which creates artistic installations in the landscape field: Water Garden in Tehran, Chaumont/Loire Festival, St. Petersburg Festival, etc.
In 2015, Anna Golicz-Cottet and Olivier Thomas launched the project: ANATHOMIE - Threads animated by emotions.
They have exhibited at MAC Paris, Maison & Objet, and in various galleries and concept stores. Their works have traveled to China, the United States, and India. The French Arts Factory gallery has represented the artist duo since 2018.
