Biography
2a graff is a graffiti artist from the urban environment.
Using his stencils, 2a graff reappropriates important images from history: propaganda posters, the key figures in an era… Nothing phases this socially conscious artist. His work invests in the political field with discretion, challenging not only the viewer, but the citizen, via varied and diverse subject-matter. At first sight, his pieces can be categorized as colorful. But after a longer period of observation, one realizes that black paint is a key element in his work: indeed, the artist visually translates his message through an effect of contrast in his compositions.
