"Photography interests me because of its relation to time. I try to do a work of refinement as close as possible to the play of light. My images show the stigmata of Man on his environment. He never appears, or if not in the form of a phantom silhouette; its traces leave room for silence and imagination.

I try to create a dreamlike tension, I let the spectator build his story. The framing and the off-screen space of the photographs bring a strange character to the scenes, the non-visible suggests other interpretations. I'm not trying to do documentary photography but rather to arouse a feeling of unreality, of reverie. "
