Impressionist of abstraction.

Art has always had a prominent place in the family of contemporary furniture designers in which it was born. His father and his uncles frequent Hans Hartung, Vassily Kandinsky, Georges Mathieu, Bruno Pulga, ... it is therefore natural that he grew up in the world of abstraction. Without even paying attention, his young gaze sharpens, his memory permeates. He draws with talent. 

Yet even if it is to another art that he turns (he is a professional dancer), the love of painting animates him. He frequents art galleries, buys works, but that is no longer enough for him, he wants to bring his feelings to the canvas ... 

With great blows of a knife or a spatula, he sculpts the paint, spreads, adds, removes, replaces material. One color leads to another color, one touch another touch and step by step he "weaves his web". He does not dive into his work like a Kazuo Shiraga, he is not as structured as a Jean-Paul Riopelle, but there is no doubt that his work is in the continuity of a Jacques Germain or a Paul-Emile Borduas, these great masters of whom he is a fervent admirer. 

An impressionist of abstraction, he paints under "emotion". Sometimes dark, sometimes colorful, in matter or flat, his painting reflects his moods and his struggles. Until this day, his canvases remained private. Today, he takes the step to exhibit them. Anyone who sees his works will prove him right.
