ARTowa

Multifaceted artist, born in Dakar to a Cameroonian father and a Central African mother, ARTowa transports us, through her poems, in a sweet whirlwind of dreams imbued with self-assertion, dreams that inhabit, secretly or put naked, any African woman. In this surprisingly masculine world, where woman harmonizes with the masculine (chance, fate, sex, father, the Universe, God), man surrenders to the evidence of ARTowa: life is feminine, like can be a preface, an introduction, a meeting, a proof of love, the land, Mauritania… life is woman! This cry of heart is found in all the works of this multidisciplinary artist living in Dakar, following the repetitive conflicts in the Central African Republic.

Working for peace, ARTowa asserts itself through exhibitions and fashion shows such as the Cameroonian Cultural Weeks in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and participates in events such as Fesman 2010 and Sira Vision 2011, between Bangui and Dakar.

Through its works, ARTowa intends to promote, among other things, African know-how, valued by the essential contribution of African women as a real lever of development for the continent. African Man must be able to understand that each passing day is March 8th! Long live Africa!
