Géraldine Rué is a French travel photographer born in the South of France in 1980.
She studied music before photography, and it is after a fieldwork as an ethnomusicologist in Peru that she decided to lead a nomadic life. During more than eight years, she travels to a hundred countries to study and capture their beauty. During this period, she also wrote travel reports for lemonde.fr.
Taken on the spot and without staging, her photographs are a tribute to the richness of our earth and its cultural and human heritage. His favorite theme is tradition and its transformations over time.
For the past two years, her exploration of the world has moved from the horizontal to the vertical. For her latest ongoing series, she once again tries to pay homage to the earth but this time, by observing the cycle of the seasons and the capacity of nature to constantly regenerate itself.
