Vitaly Gunaza is a Russian artist born in 1980 in Pskov. He studied in Ukraine, at the School of Fine Arts of Zaporozhye. From 2001 to 2007, he studied in Minsk, in Belarus and obtained a degree in painting from the Belarus State Academy of Arts. He currently lives and works in Minsk, Belarus.
Vitaly Gunaza works with oil paint on canvases or in wood panels. He represents mainly urban and rural landscapes, with poetry and precision. He plays with light and shadows to define a mood specific to each painting. Nostalgic, Idyllic, generous... His work invite us to contemplation.
Vitaly Gunaza exhibits his work regularly in Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Serbia and Germany since 2001.
