Currently, Yulia Shadrina is working on a series inspired by the nature of the Middle Urals. In her works, she metaphorically embodies natural elements and inanimate forms through the human figure, drawing on ancient perceptions of the world in which rocks, wind, and water are endowed with human traits—character, will, and physical presence. The nature of this interaction is central to her artistic research.
