Nowadays, the fast-paced life makes people fickle and impetuous and a brief serenity is regarded as a kind of luxury. Life is both familiar and strange to everyone. Youth is ephemeral. And for the restless youth, it becomes extremely precious to cherish a far prospect. Realizing from the comprehension of daily life as well as the relation to my own age, I sculpted an active and progressive figure of post-puberty interpreting its natural and graceful state of mind.
A craft of ancient “variant gold and silver”is applied in this sculpture.Considered as one of the fine decorating techniques for metal works from ancient Chinese Han nationality and the outcome of scientific and technological development of ancient China, this craft was originated from mid period of Spring and Autumn more than 2000 years ago and has now been listed in the National Who’s Who of Intangible Cultural Heritage as a traditional fine arts.
I specifically choose the technique of “variant gold and silver” as the sculpting expression in order to highlight the decorative effect of the pattern by either casting or chiseling concave slots needed for the patterns in advance and then inlaying gold and silver filaments or pieces. After being polished repeatedly so as to make the filaments of gold and silver and the surface of the bronze natural and smooth, it finally reaches the seamless state. The totem lines on the sculpture are demonstrated smoothly and concisely in winding elegance with prominent glittering and dazzling decorative design due to the variations of natural colors of bronze, gold and silver.

"To heritage and integration traditional sculpture elements into a contemporary sculpture language" is what I have been continuing to pursue the thing. My creation must base on reality, but at the mean time, it cannot be a stickler for reality. In my numerous art works, not only have representational realism sculptures, but also have influence by minimalist style, meanwhile I inspire from the pattern of Chinese ancient steles and stone relief. In the creation process, when I face different sculpture themes, the media I select and the way I create are all diverse. When I’m focusing on my creating of work, I’m usually be absorbed in an utmost status, I will fully feel the body shape space, and in-depth interpretation of the Chinese cultures, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, other civilizations and the contemporary art, to select the most consistent media to express.
I think the creation art works I made must be get refined internally and externally: internality we can comprehend as themes, concept, ideology; externality we can comprehend as art works present forms, effects, media. The characteristic of arts need to be personalized, but also importance of consensus. Creation is artist own business, not everyone can comprehend, but it must be social frontier consensus.

Can I negotiate the price of an artwork?
For some artworks, you can negotiate the price. If the price of the work is negotiable, you have a “Make an offer” button under the “Buy this work” one.
To submit your offer, you must make a payment of the desired amount. Your offer will then be forwarded to the gallery, which reserves the right to accept or reject it. If your offer is accepted, it means that your order is confirmed by the gallery and they will prepare the artwork for shipment. If your offer is rejected, you will be refunded the total amount paid automatically. The gallery can also propose a counter-offer for the acquisition of the artwork.

Where can I have my order delivered?

Return and cancellation
