Valeria Ocean is a contemporary marine artist born in Russia and currently based in Belgrade, Serbia. Her work is rooted in a deep fascination with water and the emotional worlds reflected in its movement. Through atmospheric seascapes and close studies of light, color and flow, she explores how shifting tides mirror the fluidity of human feeling.
Valeria paints the ocean as both an external and an internal landscape. Her practice focuses on the subtle transitions between calmness and intensity, stillness and motion, clarity and depth. She uses oil and acrylic to create layered, luminous surfaces that invite the viewer into a quiet space of reflection and presence.
Drawing inspiration from the transformative energy of the natural world, she aims to bring beauty and serenity into contemporary living. For Valeria, water is more than a subject; it is a symbolic language that expresses renewal, emotional clarity and the ever-changing rhythm of life.
