Born in Japan with Korean parents, Hyemi Cho is based in New York. She utilizes painting as a way of addressing primordial questions of existence that have been with her since childhood. By expressing the chaos and indefinable emotions that manifest in daily life, she also seeks to grasp hold of things yet unseen. She has participated in numerous exhibitions.
