Biography

Juana González (Puertollano, 1972), graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2005, has participated in several group exhibitions in Madrid, Seville, Granada, Alicante and has exhibited individually in Madrid, Puertollano and Móstoles. She has received the honorary mention of the ABC de Arte Prize of the EAC (Instituto Alicantino de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert). 

From 2020, Juana González exhibits in Cologne (Germany) and enters the famous "Colección Solo" of Madrid. In July 2021, the town hall of Miengo (Cantabria) dedicates her a large individual exhibition entitled "Entremos más adentro en la espesura".

The works of Juana González are the result of her dreams. The large paintings (on average 200×170 cm) feature fantastic, literary and historical characters in a complex and original whole. The ochre tones of his palette are inspired by his native land, La Mancha. His style is both expressionist and surrealist with a critical background.
