Pawel Zak

Pawel Żak is a photographic artist who lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. His photographs of still lifes with sophisticated compositions take us into his minimalist and poetic universe.

The artist draws inspiration from 17th century Dutch painting to revisit the genre of still life in a contemporary way via the medium of photography. He thus creates photographic paintings featuring everyday inanimate objects.

Pawel Żak's works are part of prestigious international private and public collections such as the BNF in Paris or the National Museum in Warsaw.
