Nicolas Clézio

Born in 1977, Nicolas Clézio is an artist whose medium of predilection is oil painting.

As a child, he watched his father paint after his days at work. Admiring his talent, but preoccupied with a desire to find a “real job”, he started painting late, in 2012. From then on, he never ceased to lay his inspiration on the canvas.

For four years, he painted only for himself, worked relentlessly to advance his technique, he who progressed as an autodidact in this art. Driven by those around him, he exhibited his first paintings for the first time in 2016.

His universe is marked by the world of street art even if he does not practice graffiti. He practices painting or oil pastels, to which he combines other techniques according to his paintings. Thus, in the space of a few years, Nicolas Clézio has created a unique language. His paintings are mysterious, subtle, in search of a hyper-realistic aesthetic.
