Frederic Khalil

My work is about inspiration, reflection, a story of a special moment, and an appreciation of beauty in all forms. Life has taught me how to admire the uniqueness in each one of us and around us.

Fascinated by art since childhood, I became an artist by nature exploring various creative skills throughout my life – from writing, acting, playing guitar, to interior space and objects design With no formal art training, I developed over the years a passion for painting as it has been providing me with an open and vast space to combine all my artistic skills to tell meaningful stories with color, light, and movements.

At Spectrum Miami 2019, I was excited to exhibit my new series “The Shadows". Using mixed media, each artwork expresses my inner feelings - portrayed through the shadows - about important aspects of my life experience that anyone can relate to - self determination, forbidden love, friendship, and taking leap of faith.
