Louis Lanne

Born in 1995, he began his artistic course in comics and illustration at the Estienne school. Currently at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, in Nina Childress's studio, he devotes himself mainly to painting and drawing. His work remains influenced by comics even if the formats have become institutionalized. The images keep a strong narrative dimension. His compositions are often saturated with sketches, silhouettes, typographies, exuberant plant forms. These swirling variations of information no doubt evoke instant thoughts, a sort of spontaneous writing, where in layers, the main subject coexists with parasitic thoughts.
