Elsa Frottier Manriquez

Elsa Frottier, a painter with dual nationality, was born in Paris in 1987 and has lived a large part of her life in Chile. It was there that she obtained a degree in Arts and Visual Arts Pedagogy, a field in which she has worked for about ten years through school teaching, leading painting workshops, creating murals, participating in cultural projects as well as various illustration work.

Her painting, a true autobiographical journey and a sensitive transformation of her experiences, draws on the natural landscapes that have marked her path—Paris, northern Chile, the port of Valparaíso, and the island of Chiloé—to create a multitude of graphic and poetic scenes. Today, it is from the Creuse region of France, where she lives and continues her work as a painter, that she imagines and develops these spaces.

His latest project in France consisted of creating paintings as well as designing the album cover for the music group Stand High Patrol Underground Oasis.
