Biography
French artist born in 1966 in Paris, Nathalie Grenier studied Decorative Arts.
Multidisciplinary, she explores drawing, painting and also engraving through works with lively, poetic and free lines. She thus navigates from one technique to another according to her research, considering her support, whether canvas, paper, notebook, book or fabric, as the space of a "Revelation".
Constantly exploring, Nathalie Grenier creates powerful works of contrast on Japanese, silk, or vellum paper. Addressing the theme of the seasons through slender dances, her works celebrate the female body as well as the richness of nature. Her characters sometimes gather at "banquets," a convivial and festive theme.
She exhibits regularly in France and abroad. Her work is featured in prestigious private and public collections.
