Captain Atlas

Currently docked in Nantes, Captain Atlas is an architect by day, illustrator by night.

His colorful illustrations are inspired by memories and navigations between the Indian Ocean and the French Atlantic coast. While racing on an Imoca, at anchor in a lagoon or paddling in a boat, there is no doubt that Captain Atlas contemplates the world from the sea. And he portrays it to us as he sees it.

Thanks to his dynamic and immersive compositions, he immerses us in his staging. He tries to include us in the story he tells, making us hear the wind in the sails, feel the spray on the skin, experience the thrill of navigation. A real immersion in the maritime world.

Captain Atlas strives to glorify everyday moments, to reveal beauty and poetry even in the most ordinary of scenes. The smallest event can become an adventure, everyone can become a hero, everything is an invitation to travel.
