Woman poet, illustrator, painter, draftswoman, Andrée Vilar (1916-2009) leaves an unknown, important and diverse work of which more than fifty pieces will be presented at the Reservoir in Sète. A journey through time to shed light on a discreet and passionate artist. This (re)discovery is the result of family inventory work. And highlights a work abounding in engravings, pastels, inks, drawings and tapestries… So many supports present throughout his artistic evolution. From its beginnings to its final works, it is the spectacle of a production where the softness and the power of the forms, the intimate and the myth mingle.
