Evelyne Galinski is a French sculptor, born in 1950 in Marseilles.

Evelyne Galinski works with smoked terra cotta. Her sculpted characters derive from her memories, subconscious. She draws inspiration from meditation, zen culture and her own experience. Her sculptures have put down roots in a calm and peaceful universe, which invites the spectator to reflect. Rediscover one's innocent perception, question one's certainties, doubt predetermined traditions, erase useless frontiers...All these are Evelyne Galinski's goals, she wishes to achieve them through long term commitment.
