Biography
Philip Martin was born in 1927 in Cork, Ireland. In 1948, he started painting at the Abbey Art Center in London. In the 50s, he exhibited in Paris together with the Tachistes (Jean Dubuffet and Henri Micheaux). In 1951, he had his first solo show in Florence. After traveling around the world, he eventually settled in Sydney. His artworks are represented in both public and private collections.
