Biography

Ephraim David Udoka born in 1993, a Native of Akwa-Ibom state, Nigeria, is a self-taught Watercolour, Pencil, and Digital Artist, and a graduate of Theatre Arts. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria where he attended primary and secondary school, and then he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.

Ephraim worked with W. Africa's renowned humanitarian Children's Centre/Orphanage, Land of Hope as a teacher of Fine Arts, mentoring the children gifted in art and expanding their horizons in the fundamentals of drawing. He currently holds the position of Artist in Residence at the America to Africa Higher Education Foundation.

Also known for his conceptual themes such as the compelling “Pride in Labour", “The Local Hairdresser" “Wrapped “, and “The Ndod iba" series rendered in watercolour. With his background in The performing Arts, Ephraim is obsessed with infusing action, composition and emotions in his Works. Udoka's work is respected by international collectors. Also, some of his works have been featured in an auction and exhibitions in galleries.
