Biography

Alexandra Chauchereau is a French painter born in 1964. She studied in the studios of François Bard and Olivier Di Pizio at the School of Fine Arts of Paris.

The artist evolved in a figurative world focused around the questions of identity and memory. Portraits, landscapes, scenes of life, all related to the human. His collections explore the facets of the human soul. She has also painted the silos of the Loir-et-Cher, suggesting the patient work of men on their nurturing land for generations. In another collection, she illustrates the dematerialization of the human relationships by choosing to make protraits from posters of police where the individual stands straight, with a board on his hands, and their eyes fixing an objective.

Alexandra Chauchereau exhibits her work regularly in France, she won the painting contest of Boulogne Billancourt in 2012.
