Lives and works in London and Amsterdam

The striking works of the contemporary Dutch/Moroccan artist Rachid Ben Ali splash off the canvas. His handwriting is raw, direct and intense. The artworks tell about confrontational themes such as racism, homosexuality, immigration, war and intolerance. In the year 2000, the work of Rachid Ben Ali was selected by the Dutch Queen Beatrix for an exhibition curated by her at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
