Biography
Insane 51 is an internationally renowned Greek street artist based in Athens. Born in 1992, he has established himself as one of the pioneers of 3D urban art, notably thanks to his signature technique: "Double Exposure 3D." This striking visual effect brings two distinct images to life depending on the color of light or the optical filters used, offering the viewer an immersive and interactive experience.
A graffiti enthusiast since 2007, Insane 51 has continually pushed the boundaries of mural painting. Far from traditional graffiti , his approach blends photorealism, technical mastery, and visual innovation. He is renowned for his ability to create complex optical illusions through the use of anaglyphs and stereoscopic glasses. His works, often visible on a large scale on building facades, sometimes reveal hidden subliminal images, only perceptible with red and cyan filters.
The artist has participated in numerous prestigious urban art festivals around the world, including the Lobart Festival, the Thessaloniki Street Art Festival, and Hip Hop Shop Jams, cementing his place among the leading figures in contemporary street art.
With a style at the crossroads of technology, science and visual emotion, Insane 51 reinvents muralism and establishes himself as a leading figure in the new generation of international urban artists.
