Adam Hongshan Wei

Adam Hongshan Wei (better known as Adam Wei)  is a Chinese artist primarily based in London, UK, whose art practice includes painting, photography, sculpture, installation and large scale public art projects. He has participated in numerous exhibitions including: "Scenery in the zero ", the first retrospective that the Chinese Art Center dedicated to the artist in 1997. Some of his works have won the 3rd Award Sefton Open 2000. He is present in the archive of the AAA Asia Art Archive collection in Hong Kong (China), in Volume Asian Art News Vol. 8, No.6; Nov / Dec 1998, Asian Art News Hong Kong Editions with texts by art critics such as Achille Bonito Oliva, Bradford Edwards, Zhang Zhaoui among others. It is also present in the Archive & Library Catalog collection of the CFCCA Center for Chinese Contemporary Art in Manchester, UK.
