Antoine Kubler

Antoine Kubler grew up in Strasbourg, France. As a child and a teen, he collected comic-books, movies and cartoons, and gradually learned about classical visual art. At the age of 17, he stayed for several weeks in Vancouver, BC, and developed a taste for travel, and at the age of 20, his interest for image and narration drew him to photography.

At 22, he eventually left France indefinitely, spending the next two decades abroad, for studies first, then for work. Over the years, he has lived in various places, namely Norway, Hungary, Louisiana, Bavaria, Vietnam, Kenya and lately China, and has visited as often as possible the neighbouring countries, usually on his own. Through these travels, he has been lucky enough to discover landscapes, subjects, architecture, and lights, that are as beautiful as they are diverse.
