Biography
Artist from the Le Havre maritime districts working his paintings like engravings, a mixture of unstructured colors and a touch of madness. “As long as I can remember, I have always been passionate about art and painting. I am self-taught but I like to improve my skills in evening classes at the School of Fine Arts in Le Havre, I feel good in this place, I feel like I belong there. I often use poplar boards, paper, linen, cardboard as supports, etc. The wood is engraved with a gouge to provide more contrast. I like colors and shapes to gain height as if they were alive. I use acrylic, oil, oil pastel, dry pastel and whatever comes to hand according to my inspiration of the moment.
