Biography
André Michel, a self-taught artist, transitioned from woodworking to contemporary sculpture in 1996, combining minimalism with a passion for sport. Handcrafting bronze and brass, he creates unique pieces depicting expressive postures, particularly those of rugby. His refined works capture the fluidity and beauty of movement, emphasizing human effort and performance without compromising technical precision. André is among the 10 winners of the Maison des Artistes' worldwide virtual exhibition, out of 650 artists.
