Fiber, earth, fire, work guided by the idea of persistence
Biography
Béatrice Begon is a visual artist who lives in Clermont-Ferrand, where she set up her studio in 2018. Closely connected to nature, she draws her inspiration from a rich and preserved environment.
Her creations are born from the assembly, weaving, and transformation of natural materials that she collects: wood, fibers, earth... She explores simple gestures - burning, knotting, braiding - until she brings out balance, energy, and poetry. Her work crosses a diversity of mediums and techniques, which she perfected during training with Nathalie Domingo and Thérèse Lebrun, and this artisan mastery nourishes her art.
Through her works, she invites us to slow down, to observe, to marvel at the small and large things that surround us.
