Patrice Almodovar

Adopted by Lyon, Patrice ALMODOVAR is a passionate painter whose career is marked by an early immersion in art. After four years at the École des Beaux-Arts de Rouen and further studies, he pursued a career as an executive while cultivating his artistic practice, a true refuge and source of balance. It was in the early 2000s that he devoted himself fully to painting.

His early works explored portraiture and color. Driven by a search for a more intimate and communicative expression, he gradually developed a deeply personal style of painting.

Today, his artistic approach is based on the notion of freedom. His work lies at the crossroads of Impressionism, Street Art, and Pop Art, blending influences and techniques to create a unique signature. In 2018, he founded his own studio, an experimental space where he gives free rein to his expression.

Through his works, Patrice ALMODOVAR creates an alchemy between techniques, colors, and styles, brought together on a single canvas to convey his emotions and reflections. His art, both spontaneous and structured, oscillates between rebellion and poetry, capturing the very essence of human feeling.

Convinced that "art is a gaze translated through a free temperament", he offers a raw and offbeat vision of our society, playing with memories, emotions and the human condition.
