Biography
Loïc DUBIGEON (1934-2003) is a multi-talented artist. Born in Nantes into a family of shipowners, he developed a strong taste for seascapes, painting views spanning Normandy and Brittany. He achieved great fame with the designs he created for Hermès scarves. Always curious and seeking new inspiration, he also began to explore more sensual and intimate painting. In 1963, his talent was recognized by the Paris Biennale prize. An admirer of the great masters of art, he settled in Derchigny, at the Wargemont estate, which was the residence of Auguste RENOIR (1841-1919), where he lived until his death.
