Bronze Sculpture for Sale
Each artwork is a victory: turning constraint into color, struggle into freedom, and creation into shared joy.
Born in Lyon on 9 November 1987, Géraldine Gouttes embodies a unique and deeply inspiring artistic journey that resonates strongly with collectors who appreciate works that are committed, demanding and resolutely contemporary.
After several years spent behind a desk as a legal expert, she made a decisive shift towards artistic creation. Self-taught, now aged 37, she has developed a personal visual language, nourished by her passion for pop art and the legacy of major figures such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Keith Haring.
Her universe is immediately recognisable: bright, sparkling and intensely colourful. Each work is unique and the result of dozens of hours of meticulous work, where composition, material and chromatic vibration interact with precision. Far from any standardised production, her paintings are part of an authentic and deeply human approach.
Afflicted with infantile spinal muscular atrophy, resulting in quadriplegia and an almost total lack of muscle strength, Géraldine Gouttes transforms her disability into a creative force. Each work becomes a victory, an affirmation of freedom and joy, a celebration of life. This dimension gives her work a rare emotional intensity, particularly sought after by collectors in search of meaning.
To create, she is supported on a daily basis by a loyal team of five assistants, who are true extensions of her hand and her vision. Together, they give birth to works that are the result of a joyful and collaborative process, where solidarity and kindness are an integral part of the creative process.
Her paintings not only tell a visual story: they bear witness to an inner strength, a luminous view of the world and an ability to transform limitations into creative power. These qualities make Géraldine Gouttes an artist whose works naturally find their place in collections sensitive to contemporary art that is both committed and emotionally charged.
