Biography
Skayzoo is a French artist from Lille. Coming from the graffiti scene, he began his career in 1998 with his first works, combining writing and spray-paint illustrations, in industrial wastelands and other abandoned spaces on the outskirts of Lille. These spaces of freedom became a testing ground for him, conducive to the construction of his visual language.
His work unfolds around dynamic compositions, playing on speed, volume and light. Between abstraction and figuration, he explores the interactions between forms, textures and lines, constantly seeking to achieve visual harmony in the apparent chaos of matter.
Under the pseudonym Skayzoo, he remains faithful to his original tool: the spray can. Through it, he extends the spirit of graffiti while bringing it to a more pictorial and contemporary dimension, where each work testifies to a dialogue between raw energy and graphic precision.
