My work is a personal interpretation of reality, memory, and inner experience where color, form, and texture record moments that exist beyond direct observation.

Biography

Viktoria Daneva is a contemporary artist working in painting and mixed media. She was born in 1982 in Moldova and currently lives and works in Italy. Her artistic practice focuses on visual interpretations of surrounding reality, inner experience, and the memory of space, moving fluidly between abstraction and figurative references to nature and the human presence.

Viktoria's education spans several disciplines. She studied as an artist-designer at the Tiraspol Construction Lyceum, continued her training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, and later earned a degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Moldova. This architectural background contributes to her strong sense of structure and spatial awareness within her compositions.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions in Chisinau and group exhibitions in Moldova, Italy, and the United States. Recent exhibitions include projects in Milan, Monza, and New York. Viktoria Daneva's practice continues to evolve as an ongoing visual research into space, time, and lived experience.

Viktoria's works are built on a delicate balance between intuitive gesture and structural thinking. Emotional perception is combined with careful attention to form, texture, rhythm, and composition. Rather than literal representation, she is interested in personal transformation of experience—capturing what remains beyond direct observation. Each artwork becomes a subjective record of perception, memory, and internal state.

She works primarily with traditional materials, including oil and ink in painting and drawing, and also incorporates paper through collage techniques. These materials allow her to preserve the physicality of the gesture, layered surfaces, and tactile depth. Color, line, and material interaction play a central role in shaping her visual language.
