Description

Original triptych created in oil on canvas, executed in a refined contemporary style. The painting is built through subtle layered brushwork and soft texture, producing a sense of depth and a calm visual rhythm. The restrained palette combines muted pastel, sandy, and earthy tones with gentle transitions between water, horizon, and sky, making the work well-suited for contemporary interiors and curated collections.
The triptych unfolds as a continuous horizontal composition, where each panel complements the others to form a unified spatial experience. The artwork aligns with contemporary landscape painting, minimalist landscape art, and atmospheric abstraction, integrating naturally into architectural and exhibition environments.
Conceptually, the work belongs to the Silent Landscapes series and explores landscape as a state of stillness and inner balance. Rather than depicting a specific location, the painting presents a meditative space of pause and presence. It invites the viewer into quiet contemplation, offering a visual experience where time feels suspended and silence becomes tangible.

Presentation

Viktoria Daneva is a contemporary artist working in painting and mixed media. She was born in 1982 in Moldova and currently lives and works in Italy. Her artistic practice focuses on visual interpretations of surrounding reality, inner experience, and the memory of space, moving fluidly between abstraction and figurative references to nature and the human presence.

Viktoria's education spans several disciplines. She studied as an artist-designer at the Tiraspol Construction Lyceum, continued her training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, and later earned a degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Moldova. This architectural background contributes to her strong sense of structure and spatial awareness within her compositions.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions in Chisinau and group exhibitions in Moldova, Italy, and the United States. Recent exhibitions include projects in Milan, Monza, and New York. Viktoria Daneva's practice continues to evolve as an ongoing visual research into space, time, and lived experience.

Viktoria's works are built on a delicate balance between intuitive gesture and structural thinking. Emotional perception is combined with careful attention to form, texture, rhythm, and composition. Rather than literal representation, she is interested in personal transformation of experience—capturing what remains beyond direct observation. Each artwork becomes a subjective record of perception, memory, and internal state.

She works primarily with traditional materials, including oil and ink in painting and drawing, and also incorporates paper through collage techniques. These materials allow her to preserve the physicality of the gesture, layered surfaces, and tactile depth. Color, line, and material interaction play a central role in shaping her visual language.
