Biography
Tania Font, born in 1978 in Palamós, Catalonia, is a multi-talented artist trained in various disciplines such as painting, drawing, engraving, sculpture, and jewelry making. Her career has led her to work on set design for numerous theater and television projects, in addition to collaborating with biologist Ramon López to create hyper-realistic scientific sculptures for museums.
Tania Font's work is particularly distinguished by its reflection on the human figure, with a special emphasis on female representation. Through her sculptures and paintings, she seeks to explore and express subjective experiences, addressing the construction and deconstruction of the female subject. Her work also interrogates the complex relationship women have with language, highlighting a long history of silences.
