"It is a very rich orientation that Claude Voutat's painters take. Of course, his control of colors and their confrontation are always there, mixing black with it, but their interventions strictly on a white background speak to us in a cabalistic way. .. Although the signs thus posed, perhaps lead us to the obvious. In fact, they reach the essential. Which are punctuated by collages with humor and a distancing mixed with poetry."
