Jean-Paul Bocaj is a French painter, born in Paris in 1949, he studied at the School of Fine Arts. He currently lives and works in Montpellier.
Jean-Paul Bocaj is known for his representation of sensual and provocative female models. Woman plays a main role in his work. He has dedicated his career to representing her in all her facets. Mothers, madonnas or prostitutes, all are represented in the work of the artist, who adds the euphoria of the forbidden to the beauty of the flesh.Sailing between sensuality and eroticism, mystery and nudity, Jean-Paul Bocaj materializes all his fantasies on his canvases, without being vulgar. Men are relegated to a second plan, slaves of the female gender.
