Maud Vantours, Designer and Visual Artist, lives and works in Paris. It was after having followed an artistic course specializing in textile design and material research at ESAA Duperré that the artist launched his own freelance activity. Color, graphics and material have a preponderant place in his work. Maud Vantours likes to start from a simple 2D pattern, which she breaks down in order to develop it in volume and express all its facets. A poetry emerges from his sculptures and research to create original graphics such dreamlike multicolored landscapes. Over time, paper has become his favorite material. She folds it, perforates it, accumulates it, layers it layer after layer to create inspired patterns with volume. The paper material, sculpted by Maud Vantours is transformed into a precious object.
