Tagger, graphic designer, Nebay's field of action is the urban landscape and the canvases he creates in his studio. Since 1987, he has been an active member of the JCT collective (Je Cours Always!). In 2002, he traveled through Russia, Mongolia, China, and thus heard his practice from other continents and other cultures. In 2005 in Paris, he hijacked brands and slogans from advertising posters, especially luxury ones, by taking the path of humor. His interventions mark the urban space with social messages and the incongruous character he gives to some of his creations. Close to the current of action painting, a technique dear to Pollock from whom he borrows the famous “dripping”, flops, blocks, tags, accumulations are all techniques used by the artist. His paintings offer a force and a mastery of the striking chroma. Nebay's work is charged with a singular energy. Both dense and luminous, his paintings are hymns to color. Recognized artist of French Street Art, he in turn became the precursor of his generation; his works are now part of large private collections.
