Born in 1953 in Paris, Mag is a painter. She took drawing classes in the studio of Jean Signovert in St Germain-en-Laye, at the Academy of the Grande Chaumière and at the School of Fine Arts of the city of Paris.
Sensible and sensual, her paintings superimpose layers of material in a whirl of colors and an abstract but architectural structure. Inviting to daydreaming, her pieces sketch chimerical landscapes of hypothetical beaches, cliffs...
"The artist works the pictorial matter with a great technical mastery, his dough is creamy, nourished and carnal. Beyond the layers that intertwine with great freedom, we enter a plastic very personal universe where the brushstrokes resemble scripture, lines, shapes, colors that confront until the moment where we reach the impression of balance after vertigo " we can read on Art Deco.
Mag did 12 meters long frescoes for the Contemporary Art Fair of Fontenay-sous-Bois, and made educative documentaries for television. Winner of the Lucie Rivel Prize by the Taylor Foundation in 2000, she continues to exhibit regularly in numerous galleries in Paris and Tokyo in 2000.
